Graduation

About a month ago Kurt flew home from Indianapolis for the weekend so he could Graduate.

Some of my family was able to come into town!

Kurt wasn't super excited to get dressed up, sit for a hour and listen to some random people and then walk across a stage.  But he did it for me.  Thanks Love!

We tried to have a BBQ after the ceremony but it was raining/snowing, so we partied inside.

The next day we took my Dad and Maria to Kneaders for an Awesome brunch and then up the American Fork Canyon to see the Snow in April.  It was a little cold for their CA blood!

I'm so proud of Kurt and all the hard work, and late nights that he has put into his Schooling! 

While the Husband is away...

I've never been a huge yogurt person, except for frozen yogurt! But this is so yummy!

Why have I never thought to put honey in my yogurt? Add a little granola and its the perfect breakfast!

This one is my favorite!  I've tried a few and they are ALL good! 

I take them to work or even eat them for dinner at home, cause it's just me right now.  I love that they are vegetarian.  I don't like the taste of frozen meal meat.

But for a girl that stands  8-10 hours a day they are the best!  I got these ones cause they look a little fancy for work.  But I for sure want more to wear out side of work.  They are a bit pricey..So worth IT

she keeps some of the clothes vintage and some she re-makes specific for the client.  If you can get past all the botax she has, you'll love her sassy attitude.  It's on Thursday nights on Planet Green.

Revita Lash

This isn't a new love. I've been using it for just over a year.

If you want longer lashes, with out getting lash extensions, get this!  It is a lash conditioning agent not a prescription so there aren't any side eeffects. I saw results in a month!

well that's it for now.. all the new loves in my life.  But none can take the place of KURT!

Race for the Cure

Saturday I ran a 5K...This was a huge accomplishment for me! I'm not a runner, but after my last post I deiced that if I was going to keep running I needed to RuN for a reason.  And what better reason then Celebrating the Women in my life that won their battle with Breast Cancer! 
Kurt is already gone for the summer, so I did it all by my self.  I was kind of nervous, but when I got there and saw the other 20 thousand people I knew I wasn't alone!  The run was easier then I thought it would be, the up hill part wasn't very steep and just as the arch in my left foot started to hurt I heard cheering.  The finish line was only 1/2 mile away! yahoo!  It was so exciting to finish in 36 min,  my goal was to finish in under 40 min.  I know a 12 min mile isn't all that fast, but for me it is.  It was such a great experience to be there and see all the love and support, at times it was a little emotional.

With Kurt being gone, this has giving me a goal and something to look forward to.  YeS I have been lonely and YeS I miss him, but this has been awesome for me to do by my self!  I'm going to keep running and hopefully the next race I do I'll be a few min. faster!
