RoomMate Reunion

The weekend after the Hardens left, I went to St. George for a  girls weekend.  My mom was sweet and stayed in Ut. to help kurt with Zoey, so he could still work on Friday.  I left Friday morning and drove to St, George.  Ashley Hammack Butler drove from Phoenix, Erin Parry  Cahill drove from Vegas and Ashley Child Peterson flew in from Denver.  We felt like SG was a good middle for everyone.  We have seen each other separately through out the years, but we haven't all been together since Ashley P's wedding in 2007!  For those that don't know these ladies...I went to HS with Erin and Ash B. and then we moved in together after HS in Provo, Ash P. just happened to move in to the Same Apt. As us and we all hit it off so well that we lived with each other over the next 3 years. ( except Erin, she got married at the end of our 2nd)

A family friend has a beautiful house in St. George that she let us stay in for very reasonable price.  Friday night we went to Pizaa Factory and then to Tuachan to see Mary Poppins.  It was an amazing production, it was really warm for being 8 at night.  I can't imagine how the dances felt with their costumes on.  My favorite part was the chimny sweeps dancing on the roof, it pretty incredible all the talent those people have!

We stayed up until 3am just chatting a dn catching up,  It was like we were roommates again and no time had passed!  I could tell these ladies anything and not be embarrassed, shameful, judged or stupid.   I love them like sisters.

Saturday we had some yummy breakfast at Kneaders and then did some shopping .  Urban renewal was our first stop, to many cute things not to buy.  I found an awesome aqua vase and couldn't resist.   We were pretty hot and decided to cool down with a  dirty drink  and cookie from Swig.  So delish, now I know what all the hyp was about.  Then on to the gap and old navy outlets.  We all found some cute sandals and clothes.  Lastly we hit up Tai Pan,  after that we were ready for some food and relaxation.  Chilis hit the spot, on the way back to the house a crazy rain/wind storm hit us.  It was nice because it cooled the air down, but it was crazy to see the damage it had done in such a short amount of time.

With the cooler weather we decide to take advantage of the beautiful pool and hot tub at the house.  We again stayed up late talking, but were all ready to get home to our families on Sunday.  It was sad to say goodbye, but decide that we won't wait 6 years to do it again!  Ladies thanks for the memories and taking time away from your families to have a girls weekend!  Love and miss you

The 4th

This was the First 4th that we have spent in UT in a very long time....

We started the day off at the pool with Nick, Baylee and Bear
It was crowded but still fun to play in the pool with the babes.

That night we went to Dinner with Kurts Family and then passed Zo off the Kurts parents,
they offered to watch her so we could enjoy the night.

After dinner Mark, Crystal, Brooke, Kurt and Myself headed to BYU Mens Soccer game.
I'm about to give away a secrete....
you can see the Satatium of Fire fire works from the Mens soccer field.
BYU Won!  and then we enjoyed the fire works!

The Hardens in Utah

The week after the 4th The Hardens invaded Utah.  My mom and Richard, my brother Adam, his wife Heather and their 6 kids, my brother John, his wife Cheryl and their twin boys and my sister Audrey, her husband Alan and their 5 kids all traveled far and wide to have some fun with us.

Monday we rode the Heber Train, it was hot and sunny but the kids loved being on a real choo choo train.

Tuesday we went to Hogle Zoo. The Polar Bear was my favorite and all the Lego animals were pretty cool to look at too.  After the Zoo me and Zo went home and took a nap and the rest of the family trucked on to This is the Place.

Wednesday we hiked Ensign Peak as a family (-Kurt he had to work)  I hiked with Zo on my back in the pack the whole way!  After Ensign peak we went to Temple Square, checked out the Visitors Center and walked around the Temple Grounds.  I was surprised at how not Crowded it was. We had Lunch at City Creek Mall and I guess thats where everyone was! The food court was so packed it was giving me anxiety and it takes a lot for me to get that way.   By the time I got my food  I wasn't even hungry anymore, I just wanted to feed Zo and get out of there! After lunch Mom and I did some shopping and relaxed while the rest of the family went to see the Joesph Smith Movie.  Later we went to Wheeler Farms so the kids could milk a cow and then went to yummy Red Robin for Dinner!

Thursday I had to work but the rest of the family went up to Snow Bird and enjoyed all the festivities.

Friday we went to Provo to tour BYU,  they do a potential student tour that my nephew Preston went on.  We just went on the Regular tour.  It was Pretty interesting actually and Zo loved riding on the Golf Cart.  That night we went to our Church BBQ at the park and just chilled and played.

Saturday everyone left, it was so sad to see them go, but so fun to have them here!  I loved having family come visit us, now its our turn to go visit them!
