Have you ever put your pants on and their tight??! Well I have, and recently.
So let me back up a bit, Pook asked me to run the Salt Lake City Half Marathon with her about 5 weeks ago. I said sure why not I'd give it a try, so I start running and doing more Insanity. I was doing really good the first few weeks and then we went on vacation to Maob and then to Las Vegas the next weekend. I just stopped running, and then before I knew it the race was in a week. So what do i do? Back out and tell Pook sorry.. I know I'm a bad friend, I just didn't feel dedicated to it.
Yesterday I put on my "fat" pants and they were tight!! UUGGHH! How did I get here! I worked so hard to lose weight before I got married. Please understand I'm not saying I'm FAT, I'm just not at my fittest anymore. Back to the Half marathon it was today...and I was feeling pretty down on myself for not following through. So I was being Lazy and mopey this morning and I was checking out some blogs. I Found this on my friend Meghan's blog.....thank you Meghan!
Lets just say I got a little emotional watching it...and I got off my butt and RAN. When I started running it was overcast and cloudy, as I kept going it started to sprinkle a little bit. But I didn't stop and as I kept going the sun came out. It was a beautiful day! I got home and was feeling good, except for I was locked out...hum. Luckily my neighbor was home and I called Kurt and he told me where the spare key was.
So I'm feeling motivated and all I have to do is keep on keeping on and hopefully next time pook asks me to run with her I won't back out! I hope this motivates you as much as it has me!!
You forgot to mention you 'fat' pants are a size 5....and that is not 'fat'!
